Excellent restaurant et très bon service

This was our 2nd visit to Portugal and our 2nd visit to your amazing restaurant. I would certainly recommend Staar to anyone visiting Portugal. Staff lovely, very friendly and pleasant. Food as usual was excellent. It was my birthday that day and it was a lovely touch with a candle and a message when my dessert came. Definitely a must when visiting Albuiferia, thank you team Staar 🥰

Thank you, thank you, thank you; we make tenderloin and steaks ourselves often enough, and we've eaten meat in so many restaurants around the world that we can honestly say your steaks and tomahawk and the pepper sauces were cooked to very near perfection! It is very rare to find a restaurant that pays meticulous attention to the details, from browned butter to the fried meat surface to the grade of the steak. And the salting was robust. When you get the sense that the chef could serve this to their private guests at home, then you know you've come to the right place. I read the reviews on Google and yes indeed, they were right. The chocolate martini was sublime! If we visit Albufeira again, this is the restaurant we will visit. As a comparison, another restaurant we tried with a so called 4.7 score was an absolute tourist trap mediocre garbage, while you could be considering competing in a different league entirely. Well done!
